I've incorporated The Alien Exit door that David has built, it's not UV mapped or textured yet so i slapped one on to give it some temporary value.
I've also put in the player model on the character controller, it looks good when standing, however, when moving, the model isn't fluid and is completely jittery, it's something to do with the controller or camera, must fix this. maybe adding the animations will solve the problem.
Good to see that I made the door obvious enough and it seems that you had a blast with it. Just so you know, I still need to unattached the door in the middle so that it actually opens because the door is still one whole model. The texture is interesting, but I have some other ideas for it.

ReplyDeleteAnother thing, if the door is opening sideways, it needs to have somewhere to go, so i think i'll be adding a thickness to the walls to make sure it seems as if it is doing that.
ReplyDeleteEither that, or I'm going to assume that when the player competes the puzzle he won't be near the door so won't technically matter that much.
